Consider the Lily is a charitable organization dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing home for girls who have faced challenging circumstances. One of the original residents, Angel, holds a special place in the heart of this organization. At the tender age of eight, she arrived at Consider the Lily with her two older sisters. Despite her young age, Angel exhibited remarkable qualities of intelligence, spunk, and leadership. Over the years, she has blossomed into a beautiful and resilient young woman.

Jenny is 15 years old. She came to the Consider the Lily home as a small, quiet 9-year-old, arriving with several other girls who had been rescued. When Jenny first arrived, she had a severe infection on her foot from a cut that hadn’t been properly treated, but she would still hobble along, determined to keep up with the others and be included. Over the years, Jenny has grown into a confident young woman who may not yet know what her future holds, but she is certain that the Lord has something great in store for her. We are grateful that Jenny has learned to dream big and believes she can achieve anything.
